How did you search?
It was easy, I just went to J-STOR through the library tab on the Highline website and clicked on advanced search. I typed in what I wanted, clicked "articles" because reviews are usually not what I am looking for, I pretty much narrowed down my search as much as possible. Just as an example, I searched for "bacon's rebellion" and many things came up.
What did you find?
Like I said, searched for "bacon's rebellion" and a huge mess of things came up. Not everything was what I wanted so I made a mental note to make sure that I'm more specific in my searches, and I probably would use more of the quotes around words. (" ") just to make sure that I have everything I need, and not random stuff about something totally not related to Bacons rebellion. But I did find a lot of useful info using basic search terms...I wonder what I would have found if I had used more specific and better search terms...
How will you search differently?
I will probably use the quotes and make sure I'm more specific. Also make sure that I'm not just looking up reviews, one thing that I might also try is to look for more related terms, so I don't just keep getting the same info over and over again, with the only difference being where they (same info) came from (diff. sources/authors, but same words basically).
